This course equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to seek employment in a wide variety of Unmanned Aircraft Systems related fields, including professional UAS pilots, sensor operators, project managers and field technicians.  This field has seemingly limitless potential. Also known as RPAS, UAV, UAS, Drone, EVTOL, etc.

Drone pilots utilising a drone for commercial use or if you earn remuneration directly or indirectly from flying a drone is required to have a drone licence. You will need to operate under a ROC (Operating certificate) in accordance with SACAA CARs Part 101

RPL – consists of classroom and practical instruction necessary for graduates to become an Unmanned Aircraft Systems pilot. There are different categories of licenses – VLOS BVLOS etc depending on the type/size of equipment and environment operated in.
